This notice explains how Nanjing Dongming Fastener Co., Ltd. handles information submitted through tongmingfasteners.com.
Who we are
Tongmingfasteners.com is operated by Nanjing Dongming Fastener Co., Ltd., Nanjing, China. Contact us about your information at biz@tongmingfasteners.com.
Information you provide
Our Contact & Request a Quote form asks for your name, company, business email, country and purchasing requirements. A phone or WhatsApp number and supporting attachments are optional. We also receive information you choose to send by email.
Product lists, drawings and photographs may contain personal or confidential information. Please provide only what is needed to describe your request, and avoid identity documents, payment details or other unnecessary sensitive information.
How we use your enquiry
We use your information to review the requested products, clarify specifications, prepare a quotation and communicate with you about your enquiry. Submitting the form requests a quotation; it does not place an order.
Required fields help us understand your request and reply to you. If you prefer, you can contact our business email directly.
How information is handled
Form submissions are recorded in our website administration system. A notification containing the enquiry details and uploaded attachments is sent to biz@tongmingfasteners.com through Alibaba Mail. Authorised personnel use the website records and business mailbox to handle enquiries.
Our website is hosted by Alibaba Cloud in the United States. Enquiry notifications are delivered through Alibaba Mail, and our team in Nanjing, China reviews the information. Information submitted from other countries may therefore be processed outside your country. Website hosting and email service providers process information as needed to operate these services.
How long we keep information
Enquiries that do not result in an order, together with their supporting attachments, are kept for up to 24 months after receipt. Records connected with an order may be retained longer where needed to fulfil the order, handle a dispute or meet applicable record-keeping obligations.
This period applies to enquiry records and the related working copies held by our team. Email delivery logs have a separate 14-day setting. Records that are no longer needed are handled through our deletion process.
Website files and the database are backed up daily on our hosting server, retaining the latest seven successful backups. Backup copies are kept separately for recovery and replaced as this rolling schedule runs. They are not used for routine enquiry handling.
Access to attachments
Direct access to uploaded enquiry files on this website is restricted to signed-in website administrators. The business mailbox also receives the attachments. This access control does not mean that an uploaded file has been scanned for viruses. Please send only files needed for your enquiry.
Technical records
The form system records the submission time, source page, browser or device information and IP address. Email delivery logs contain delivery status and message details to help investigate sending problems. The current email-log retention setting is 14 days; this is separate from enquiry records and messages kept in the mailbox.
Your agreement and choices
The form asks for your agreement to store and use the information to respond to your enquiry. You may withdraw that agreement by contacting biz@tongmingfasteners.com. Withdrawal applies to future processing based on that agreement and may mean that we can no longer handle the enquiry; it does not affect processing that already took place.
Your information requests
Depending on the law that applies to your information, you may have rights to access, correct or delete it, restrict or object to certain processing, obtain a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us so that we can consider your request and explain any applicable limits.
Email biz@tongmingfasteners.com if you would like to ask about an enquiry you submitted, correct its details or request deletion. Include the email address used for the enquiry and an approximate submission date so we can locate it. Please do not send identity documents unless we specifically explain why they are needed.
